DCI, Inc.

Working in conjunction with a local agency on a hiring campaign, BV&E had the honor of shooting and editing a series of videos to showcase the benefits of working at DCI as a welder. BV&E shot all the interviews and b-roll in 1 day at DCI’s facility in St. Cloud. Then we set about editing series of 5 videos, each focusing on a separate individuals interview on why they enjoy welding at DCI.

 

SUMMIT FIRE PROTECTION

Summit Companies was in the process of updating its website and other marketing materials. As a part of that they decided to put some resources toward video. This is just one of a series of videos that BV&E edited. In addition to the edit I was asked to be on the shoot in Las Vegas and Phoenix as an additional crew hand. Having the editor on shoots is not always feasible but it does save time in the edit suite when the editor has a strong knowledge base of the footage before starting the edit.

 

Maxxon - Science of sound

This was a fun one! BV&E was asked to animate and edit together a series of 3 videos designed to educate the audience on how sound travels and some of the mitigation strategies used in the construction industry. Many of the elements were designed and provided by the producer of the project. I enjoy animating elements provided by a talented designer!

 

BERMO Manufacturing

BERMO was in the market for a corporate overview video. The project producer, HPSS hired BV&E for the edit. This was done during Covid and was a "virtual edit". I was never in personal contact with anyone on the project. Footage was delivered digitally and edit sessions were done virtually. From the time of footage delivery through several revisions to the final approval was 7 days. Edits can go quickly with good pre planning! Thank you HPSS and BERMO for this opportunity!

 

Ultra Durable technologies

Example of a contract relationship. UDT and BV&E entered into a 3 month contract where BV&E worked a set amount of hours each week to assist with some on going video projects as well as get more projects up and running.
