ABOUT ME
I have been involved with video production since my junior year at Brainerd High School. My career has taken me through many video formats and technology changes. I’ve enjoyed these changes as it keeps me learning new ways of doing things and keeps the video creation process fresh and interesting.
I've also been fortunate enough to travel with clients for various projects. Some of these include: Washington D.C. for Red Baron Pizza; Milford, CT and the Subway Headquarters for Schwan’s Food Service; Charlotte, NC also for Schwan’s Food Service and their NASCAR team; Bozeman, MT for Park Industries; Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV for Iron Barque Productions; Portland, OR & Seattle, WA for Calbrandt Industries.
This career has been good to me and in turn, my family. I enjoy putting together the puzzle that a video project can be, working with clients to provide a usable and valuable tool for them, whether it be for marketing, training or fundraising.
Many years ago, during high school, working at Grand View Lodge it was clear to me that I liked to help people. It’s no different today. Working with my clients, ultimately, I am helping them get what they want through the process of recording and editing video.
Just shooting and editing the video elements are not enough. Talking with clients to understand their needs and expectations is just as important as using the proper gear. I enjoy chatting about projects in advance to gain the necessary knowledge to be prepared on the shoot for both the equipment needs and project content needs. Meeting these needs often takes a team of people. My years of experience have garnered a great network of specialists in this field, many of whom have become friends. Whether your project can be handled by one pair of hands or needs many hands BV&E can provide you with friendly, quality and honest video production services.
